How many characters are allowed per line on a brick?

We allow a maximum of 13 characters per line on a 4x8 engraved brick and concrete paver to provide the most legible lettering in the industry. Our standard letter is ¾ inch.

How long -from the point of submission to completion- does the process take?

Our production time begins upon your approval. Once we receive your order we begin entering the text to create scaled paper proofs for your approval. Upon approval production time begins. Production is generally 6-8 weeks. Each custom engraved brick goes through a ten step engraving process to assure you of the highest quality finished product.

I need my pavers in 3 weeks. Can they be done in that time?

Yes, pavers can be completed with an additional rush fee if production permits.

How do we submit orders to you?

Simple-- Either e-mail or mail in a floppy disk as a Microsoft Word document. Directions can be found on the “Directions for submitting engraved pavers” (requires Adobe Acrobat ) the document and we will create the file.

Shipping is available via UPS and Common Carrier, depending on quantity and location.

Written In Stone engraves to a depth of ¼” into any stone, granite, concrete paver or brick surface.
